About Sam & Son Roofing: Kingwood's Trusted Roofers Since 1983
Part of the Kingwood Community, From Kings Point to Kingwood Town Center
About Us in Kingwood
The company homeowners hire to protect their roof matters — because the person behind the ladder should be someone who actually shows up.
Sam & Son Roofing has been a family-owned and operated roofing company since 1983, serving Kingwood and the surrounding Northeast Houston area.
Kingwood's weather demands a roof that can take punishment. Fierce hail, wind after a Gulf system rolls through, and heavy seasonal rain put every shingle, seam, and flashing to the test year after year.
That's the kind of work Sam himself still oversees on every project — no unsupervised crews, no jobs handed off to subcontractors.

Our Story
Sam & Son Roofing was founded in 1983 as a family-owned and operated roofing company dedicated to protecting homes across Kingwood, Liberty, The Woodlands, Northeast Houston, and surrounding Texas communities.
Over four decades in, the mission hasn't changed. Dependable workmanship. Honest service. Personal attention at every step.
What's kept the phone ringing across generations of Kingwood homeowners is simple: Sam stays involved in every project the company takes on.
No crews get sent out unsupervised. No jobs get passed off to a subcontractor the homeowner never meets. When you hire Sam & Son, Sam is on your job.
That's a rare thing in residential roofing, and it's the reason so many Kingwood families call us back for the next project — a fence, a bathroom remodel, gutters, siding — after we've done their roof.

Certifications and Accreditations
Trust in a roofing contractor is earned in two places: on the roof, and on paper.
Sam & Son Roofing is
accredited by the Better Business Bureau with an A+ rating and a Gold Star — a recognition tied to a consistent record of resolving customer concerns and operating with integrity.
We install roofing systems using materials from
GAF and
TAMKO, both of which back their shingle products with strong manufacturer warranties when installed to spec.
Our team is certified, insured, and safety-trained. That matters for two reasons: it protects the crew on your roof, and it protects you as the homeowner if anything goes sideways during the job.
For homeowners filing a claim, our
Insurance page walks through how we work directly with your adjuster to document damage and keep the process moving.

Service Areas
We're proud to be the trusted roofer of Kingwood's villages, including:
- Kings Forest
- Elm Grove
- Forest Cove
- Woodstream
- Kingwood Lakes
- Hunters Ridge
- River Grove
Our service area extends beyond Kingwood proper to Liberty, The Woodlands, New Caney, Humble, Porter, Conroe, Dayton, Ames, Crosby, Mont Belvieu, Spring, Tomball, Houston, and the broader Northeast Houston and Montgomery County area.
Local expertise matters more than most homeowners realize. A roofer who works this area every day knows how Gulf storms behave, how heat and humidity age asphalt shingles, and what an insurance adjuster in this region expects to see in a damage report.
That's the kind of experience Sam & Son has built one roof at a time — right here in your community.
If you're in Kingwood or a nearby village, call
(281) 354-5453 to schedule your free inspection.
We'll come out, take a look, and give you a straight answer about what your roof actually needs.
The best measure of any roofing company is what customers say after the crew has packed up and left.
